PSI has filed an application in the Gujarat High Court on the issue of recruitment controversy

Controversy has erupted after the PSI recruitment results were announced. An application has been filed in the Gujarat High Court seeking recruitment as per category in PSI recruitment. More than 100 candidates have come together to challenge the result in court. Candidates are required to be recruited as per GPSC pattern. He said that ST-SC, OBC, non-reserved class candidates were not passed in the recruitment as per the category so this method has done injustice to 8 thousand candidates. According to the current results, only 4300 candidates have been passed. The entire matter will now be heard in the Gujarat High Court next day.

Yuvraj Singh Jadeja also said in support of the candidates that the result of the preliminary examination which has come out after the final examination is the same as the result. So we have challenged this result. The only reason to do this is because many students have been unfair with the results of this system. Marcus should be counted according to the GPSC pattern. Also, document verification should be done first so that the disqualified candidates are excluded from the further recruitment process.

How many candidates had passed the exam ?

A total of 88,880 candidates appeared for the PSI preliminary examination at 312 examination centers in Gujarat. The result of the examination was declared on April 27. A total of 4311 candidates have qualified for the main examination. In which 2939 male candidates have qualified. 295 male candidates have qualified in EWS category, 160 male candidates in SC category and 420 male candidates in ST category. While 778 male candidates have qualified in SEBC category.

'Reserved candidates were considered in the open category'

As soon as the results were declared, Patidar leader Dinesh Bambhania questioned the result of PSI examination. Dinesh Bambhania alleged that non-reserved category candidates were excluded. Although 189 candidates from non-reserved category have been passed, they have been excluded. Therefore, the matter was submitted in writing to the Home Minister of the state. At the same time, it has demanded to make the result of general category as per the rules.
