Admission to Adarsh Residential School 2022


There are 33 Adarsh ​​Residential Schools (with secondary / higher secondary curriculum) functioning in the state of Gujarat for the purpose of providing better education to the bright students of socially and educationally backward classes in secondary as well as higher secondary level. School list is available on www.esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in. All facilities like education, meals, uniforms, boot-socks, stationery and accommodation are provided to the students free of cost in these schools.


For admission in these ideal residential schools for the current academic year 2022-23, new students wanting to get admission in Std. Applications are invited online from 5/2022 to 10/06/2022.


>> New students in Std. 9, 10 and 12 in Adarsh ​​residential schools will have to apply online for admission. The required certificates along with the application will also have to be uploaded online.


>> Old students of Std. 9, Std. 10 and Std. And after giving admission in Std. 12, taking into consideration the capacity of the building, only if the space is vacant, new students who apply online for admission in Std. 9, 10 and Std. 12 will be given admission according to merit.


>> After the result of Std. 10, after issuance of marksheet by Gujarat Secondary Board, the portal for admission in Std. 11 will be opened and then the student will be able to apply online for admission in Std.


>> The student applying for admission must have obtained at least 50% marks in last year's annual examination.


>> In case of girls, students who get 45% or more marks can apply.

>> App. Caste / App. In case of children belonging to more backward / extremely backward destitute caste as well as children of handicapped widows and abandoned sisters among the people of caste / socially and educationally backward class, students who got 45% marks or more in last year's result can apply.


>> If the annual income of the father / guardian of the student is up to Rs.1,20,000 for rural area and Rs.1,50,000 / - for urban area then they can apply.


>> Ideal residential school is allotted 60% seats for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, 15% for Economically Backward Classes, 12.5% ​​for Scheduled Castes and 12.5% ​​for Scheduled Tribes. In addition 5% of the total capacity of the building will be reserved for the disabled. Priority will be given to 10% of the recognized number of students belonging to the most backward / nomadic and deprived castes among the socially and educationally backward classes.


>> Admission rules for Adarsh ​​Residential School as well as more details are given on www.esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in. After completing the study, the student has to apply online. Also special information about Adarsh ​​Residential School will be available from the office of District Deputy Director / District Social Welfare Officer (Developing Castes).


>> Admission will be given on merit as per rules laid down by the Government.


>> Provisional merit list for admission as well as other instructions will be published online. For which the student has to visit the said website from time to time. Students placed in the Provisional Merit List will be informed about the verification of certificates through SMS and E-mail.


>> Since the publication of the online provisional merit list, the students in the merit list will have to verify the original certificates at the respective Adarsh ​​Residential School. Applicants will not be admitted if there is a discrepancy between the percentage of examination marks filled in the online form of the applicant and the percentage of the original marksheet and the qualification or other certificates.
